MUSIC: Mokoomba @ Central Park’s Music Haven, Schenectady. The Music Haven kicks off its 25th season! Hailing from the remote, rural village of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Mokoomba makes their American concert debut in Schenectady, mixing traditional Tongan rhythms and modern Afro-fusion beats. With the Kakande Quartet, led by balafon master Famoro Dioubate. 7pm. FREE.

OPERA: “Elixir of Love” @ SPAC’s Spa Little Theatre, Saratoga Springs. Last chance! Opera Saratoga’s production of Donizetti’s romantic comedy, directed by Helena Binder (aka, Blanche Blotto). 2pm.

MUSIC: Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. This husband-and-wife duo bridges roots folk & sunny, tambourine-fueled pop, as heard on their third and most recent album, 2013′s Wassaic Way, produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and Patrick Sansone. 7pm. $20.

MUSIC: The Michael Jackson Experience @ the Palace Theatre, Albany. The Michael Jackson tribute band presents “Thank You, Michael” starring Delisco James as the late, great, self-proclaimed King of Pop. 7pm. $29.50, $34.50 & $44.50.

CABARET: Fyvush Finkel @ Barrington Stage Company’s Mr. Finn’s Cabaret, Pittsfield. The Emmy Award-winning (“Picket Fences”) stage and screen veteran actor celebrates the great songs and humor of show business. Accompanied by his two sons – Ian Finkel, the World’s Greatest Xylophonist, and Elliot Finkel, concert pianist extraordinaire – the 91-year-old Fyvush offers a first-hand account of his incredible career from Second Avenue to contemporary television stardom. 8pm. $45. THEATER: “Working on a Special Day” @ Barrington Stage Co.’s St. Germain Stage, Pittsfield. The New England premiere of an unexpected love story between an overworked housewife and a mysterious bachelor directed by and starring Ana Graham and Antonio Vega. 3pm.

MUSIC: The Spurs USA @ Freedom Park, Scotia. Kickin’ it old-school, the Spurs dig into traditional country music’s golden era. 7pm. FREE.

CABARET: Terri White @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. With accompaniment from her pianist and bassist, Broadway legend Terri White performs her “Two Score” cabaret program, featuring songs from the many musicals she’s starred in, including “Barnum,” “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Finian’s Rainbow” and “Follies.” 7pm. $50.

THEATER: “Kiss Me, Kate” @ Barrington Stage Co., Pittsfield. Joe Calarco directs the classic Shakespeare meets Cole Porter romp. 5pm. Through July 12.

THEATER: “Bubby’s Kitchen” @ Skidmore College’s Bernhard Theatre, Saratoga Springs. Created and performed by Shira Ginsburg, the play tells the heart-warming, true story of one woman’s journey from youth through her thirties as experienced in her Bubby’s kitchen. Having grown up in a family of resistance fighters and Holocaust survivors, this moving tale illustrates the balance between the new and the old, responsibility and desire, and life and love that will make you laugh and cry in one breath. 7pm. $10; $5 students.
