MUSIC: Glen David Andrews @ Bootleggers On Broadway, Troy. A member of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, a frequent face on HBO’s “Treme” and the cousin of Trombone Shorty, the singer-trombonist and his band whip up a great big spicy gumbo of New Orleans sounds from funk to jazz, from soul to gospel, from rock to zydeco in support of his new album Redemption. 7:30pm. $15.

MUSIC: Space Carnival @ the Low Beat, Albany. The Oneonta funkateers slide into town as part of their Slippery Disco Summer Tour. With Immaculate Heart and Baked Potatoes. 7:30pm.

MUSIC: The Brian Patneude Quartet @ Rotterdam Senior Center, Rotterdam. The saxman kicks off the Rotterdam Summer Concert Series. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC: “Benny Rides Again” @ Barrington Stage Co., Pittsfield. Clarinetist Paul Green and his band pay tribute to the swinging music of Benny Goodman. With vocalist Corrine Manning. 8pm. $35.

THEATER ON FILM: “Henry IV, Part I” @ Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. 7pm. $15; $12 children 12 and under.
