Empire State Plaza Adds More Bands to the Capital Concert Series

The folks at the New York State Office of General Services announced the headliners for the Empire State Plaza’s Capital Concert Series back in April, but now they’ve beefed up the four-pack of free Wednesday night concerts considerably with the addition of some very impressive opening acts – from funk-rockers Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds to reggae star Shaggy, along with some mighty fine Local 518 talent.

So here’s how things have shaped up with the new additions, beginning on Wednesday (June 4) with Living Colour:
