The BSP Lounge in Kingston is really heating up their concert calendar with the recent additions of Kurt Vile & the Violators at 9pm on Friday, May 23 ($22 in advance; $24 at the door); Simone Felice with Simi Stone at 9pm on Saturday, May 24 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door); Titus Andronicus at 8pm on Wednesday, June 11 ($15 in advance; $17 at the door); and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at 8pm on Thursday, June 26 ($20 in advance; $25 at the door).

The award-winning singer, actress and Broadway star Linda Eder will not only perform in concert at Skidmore College’s Zankel Music Center at 8pm on Saturday, June 21, but she’ll also be recording the concert for her upcoming CD, Linda Live: The Concert Recording. Tickets are on sale now, priced at $65.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Emmylou Harris has been added as a newly announced headliners at the upcoming fourth annual FreshGrass festival at MASS MoCA in North Adams.

CANCELLED: The Blotto reunion originally slated to hit the stage at the Low Beat in Albany on Saturday, May 31, has been cancelled due to an arm injury of drummer F. Lee Harvey Blotto. Apparently, Tommy John surgery can’t help him, and he’s not prepared to play an entire evening of “Moulty” by the Barbarians.

The Calvin Theatre in Northampton will play host to Band of Horses with Midlake at 8pm on Monday, July 28. Priced at $31, tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Friday (May 16).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The line-up bands for the annual “Sixties Spectacular” at Proctors has been announced. The Schenectady concert will performances by Herman’s Hermits featuring Peter Noone, B.J. Thomas, Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, the Happenings and Dennis Tufano.

CH-CH-CH-CHANGES: The Black Violin concert at Club Helsinki in Hudson was originally announced for 9pm Saturday, August 9, but the date has been changed to 8pm on Sunday, August 3.

Latin superstar Juan Luis Guerra has joined the roster of previously announced performers – including Paul Simon, Bernie Williams and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra – at the concert in celebration of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 75th anniversary at Cooperstown’s Clark Sports Center on Saturday, August 2.

CH-CH-CH-CHANGES: For the upcoming Trapt concert at the Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park on Sunday, July 6, Leaving Eden has dropped off the bill, and Veer Union, Shallow Side and Frank Palangi have been added.
