Here is another choice for tonight and its free. Megan Fulwiler, a faculty member at The College of Saint Rose, is one of the producers.
We are pleased to announce a local showing of our documentary film, Con Job: Stories of Adjunct and Contingent Labor, at the Madison theater! The showing will be on Monday, May 12th, at 7:00 and everyone is invited to attend. The film itself is 50 minutes and we have arranged for a short discussion to follow with a few of the people featured in the film—many of whom are familiar faces here on our campus!

Our film Con Job: Stories of Adjunct and Contingent Labor describes and makes visible the pedagogical, economic, and ethical costs of higher education’s growing reliance on adjunct and contingent faculty. Armed with a borrowed video camera, Jenn Marlow and I set out to record the voices of faculty who are often invisible in and marginalized by the institutions where they teach.
