Rapper Action Bronson – who rolls into the Upstate Concert Hall on Friday night (May 2) – is getting his own monthly web series, “Fuck, That’s Delicious,” sponsored by VICE. He promises that the series will chronicle all things culinary. The first episode will visit restaurants in NYC, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. The big question is, “Where the heck is he going to eat in Clifton Park?”
The folks at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center are hosting a contest, and you can enter by filling out the online form and explaining in 100 words or less “Why I Love Music.” The winner will be chosen at random and awarded a New York City trip that includes Amtrak train tickets, concert tickets to the Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center on Sunday, May 18 and passes to the VIP post-concert reception. Deadline to enter is 5pm on Monday, May 12.

The Woodstock Playhouse kicks off its new season with a gala concert at 7:30pm on Saturday (May 3) featuring Broadway superstar Patti LuPone, who will perform selections from “Evita,” “Gypsy,” “Sunset Boulevard” and other productions from the Great White Way. The gala performance will be hosted by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, who will play the piano and interview LuPone with a sure-to-be-witty Q&A session.
