The fourth annual Blues Bash was held last weekend at the Fuller Roadhouse Grille in Albany, as a fundraiser for the Capital Region Blues Network. It was a knock-down, drag-out night of fiery guitar pyrotechnics from one of the Local 518’s finest guitarslingers Rhett Tyler and his band Early Warning, in support of their latest CD, The Rhythm The Power The Blue. The stage simply couldn’t contain him…
And that wasn’t all, either. Mark Emanatian and Soul Sky also fired up their own sweat-soaked brand o’ the blues, fueled by high-octane riffage from the guitar tandem of Emanation and Jeremy Walz.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support the bands and CRBN, while helping keep the blues alive in Nippertown.
NOTE: The blues are back in town in a big way on Thursday night (April 17) when the one and only, legendary B.B. King steps into the spotlight at the Palace Theatre. And who’s opening the show for the King of the Blues? None other than Rhett Tyler & Early Warning, so get there early and see for yourself. Showtime is 7:30pm, and tickets are $52.50, $62.50, $72.50 & $92.50.
