Belleayre Music Festival Announces Summer Concert Schedule

The schedule of concerts has been announced for the summer 2014 season of the Belleayre Music Festival at Belleayre Mountain in Highmount. The diverse array of concerts range from classic rock to opera, from comedy to jazz, from country to Broadway.

Saturday, July 5, 8pm
“THE MUSIC OF QUEEN: A ROCK SYMPHONY”
Featuring the Belleayre Festival Orchestra and the World’s Greatest Rock Band

Under the baton of conductor Brent Havens and with the powerhouse vocals of Brody Dolyniuk, it’s a high-energy night devoted to the music of Freddie Mercury and his band.

BUDDY GUY
With Quinn Sullivan and the Slam Allen Band

It’s a mega-blues show led by the six-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Buddy Guy, who also carries the prestigious title of Billboard’s Greatest Living Electric Blues Guitarist.

DJANGO REINHARDT FESTIVAL

A celebration of the music of legendary Gypsy guitarist Django Reinahrdt who teamed with famed jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli in the ’30s and ’40s to create the Quintet of the Hot club de France – one of the most important partnerships in jazz history.
