FILM: “The Punk Singer” @ Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. Lead singer of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre, Kathleen Hanna rose to national attention as the reluctant but never shy voice of the Riot Grrrl movement. This documentary provides an overview of her influential career, leading up to the much-anticipated launch of her new band, the Julie Ruin. This one-night-only screening will be followed by a Skype Q&A with director Sini Anderson. 7pm. $10; $8.25 students; $8 seniors.
