MUSIC/COMEDY: Jewmongous’ Holiday Comedy Songfest @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. MUSIC: “The Fourth Annual Spotty Dog Christmas Spectacular” @ the Spotty Dog, Hudson. The latest edition of this emerging holiday tradition brings together local performers with a gonzo take on holiday songs. Brian Dewan, Liv Carrow and Louis Munroe (of Nature Films) will be joined by special guests. 7pm. $5.

THEATER: “A Christmas Carol” @ Capital Repertory Theatre, Albany. Michael Bush directs Broadway and Cap Rep fave Kevin McGuire star in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in Patrick Barlow’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, at once funny and poignant. 2pm. $20-$60; $16 students.

THEATER: “A Christmas Carol” @ the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield. Charles Dickens’ holiday classic adapted and directed by Eric Hill. 2pm. $35; $25 children 16 and under. Through December 29.
