Poor Old Shine isn’t wasting any time getting out there in support of their just-released self-titled debut album on the Signature Sounds label. In fact, they’ll be stompin’ into Nippertown twice this weekend, landing at WAMC-FM’s The Linda in Albany tonight (Friday, November 22) before slipping down to Club Helsinki in Hudson of Saturday night (November 23).
The band grew out of late night jam sessions at the University of Connecticut’s Folk Music Society just three years ago, and since then they have gone on to spread their grassroots brand of Americana all throughout the northeast and at festivals from coast to coast.
