Local 518 record collective Built4BBQ presents its first annual Whole Hog Halloween extravaganza at Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany on Friday night (October 25). The $6 blowout features no fewer than 10 acts getting spooky ‘n’ ooky on the No Pepper stage from 6pm ‘til well past the witching hour.
Nippertown’s finest in rock, punk, hip-hop, garage and blues converge for one night only, welcoming some special guests from beyond the 518 to join in the festivities. The massive line-up features Built4BBQ mainstays Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Henry’s Rifle, the Pistolwhips, Charmboy, the Slaughterhouse Chorus, the End Men and Linear North, local cohorts Goldtooth and New Red Scare, and Italian rockers Mr. Bison.
Spearheaded by members of the Slaughterhouse Chorus and Henry’s Rifle, the music collective Built4BBQ has released a slew of music since forming earlier this year, including the 18-track Appetizer sampler and new recordings by Henry’s Rifle, the Pistolwhips and Charmboy.
Upcoming projects on Built4BBQ include the long-awaited Henry’s Rifle LP and the Entrée sampler, featuring new and unreleased music from all the Built4BBQ bands.
