Festival Fever: Pittsfield CityJazz Festival, 10/11-20/13

Berkshires Jazz has announced the line-up of performances for the annual Pittsfield CityJazz Festival, which is scheduled to take place at a variety of venues throughout Pittsfield beginning on Friday (October 11) and running through Sunday, October 20.

The headline event of the fest is a concert by the Brubeck Brothers Quartet at the Colonial Theatre on Saturday, October 19. Led by drummer Dan Brubeck and bassist-trombonist Chris Brubeck, the quartet – which also features guitarist Mike DeMicco and pianist Chuck Lamb – will pay tribute to their famous father, the late great pianist-composer Dave Brubeck, with selections from their latest album, LifeTimes.
