Former teen-popsters the Jonas Brothers were slated to launch their comeback tour on Friday (October 11) in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, but they’ve scrapped the entire tour before it even began.
Why? “There is a deep rift within the band,” their spokesman, Jesse Derris, told People Magazine. “There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.” Ah, yes, the ever-popular “creative differences.”
Their planned 19-city tour included a stop at the Palace Theatre in Albany on Tuesday, October 15. Tickets for that cancelled show will be available at the place of purchase.
The three Jonas brothers – Nick (now 21 years old), Joe (24) and Kevin (25) – became a huge success after signing with Hollywood Records in 2007 and sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
