LIVE: Troy Night Out, 8/30/13

Review and video by Joel Patterson

The glorious results of a well-spent youth: a marvelously innovative program from the Agricultural Stewardship Association graced the walls of the Arts Center of the Capital Region last Troy Night Out. Several young photographers (pictured here: Charlotte) were provided with cameras and invited to train their keenly perceptive eyes on the subject of local farming… their elegant, beautiful and poignant “farmscapes” were startling.

Meanwhile, those power funk rascals Oobleck were tearing up the sidewalk, dreamy singer-chanteuse Kayln Rock held sway over Monument Square, George Wilson and his old-timey fiddle buddies got jiggy at Segel Violins, and saxophone wunderkind Keith Pray triumphantly returned to Spillin’ the Beans.

All in a night’s work!
