CANCELLED: No “Sugar” Tonight @ Cohoes Music Hall

The C-R Productions’ musical “Sugar” was slated to open on Thursday (August 15) and run through Sunday, August 25, at the Cohoes Music Hall, but the entire run of the show has been cancelled.

After a decade at the Cohoes Music Hall, C-R Productions nearly shut down last year, but a last-minute influx of funds kept the theater company alive.

The current Cohoes cancellation follows close on the heels of the cancellation of Theatre Now New York’s production of “Cabaret,” which was originally slated to begin its run at the Pocketbook Factory in Hudson earlier this month. The show was cancelled last month due to lack of funds when a primary investor backed out.
