The Queen of Mean Lisa Lampanelli Roars Into Proctors

Comedian-actor Lisa Lampanelli brings her new one-woman show, “Skinny Bitch: NOT a Stand-Up Comedy Show,” to Proctors’ GE Theatre in Schenectady for three performances next month.

In a departure from her usual Queen of Mean insult comedy shows, the new theatrical production was co-written by Lampanelli and Alan Zweibel and directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando.

In her first theatrical production, Lampanelli reveals the woman behind the comic, and her struggle with food, men and body image. In turns hilariously funny, surprisingly touching and totally relatable, “Skinny Bitch” shows a side to the lovable Queen of Mean that few would guess exists.

Lisa Lampanelli’s “Skinny Bitch: NOT A Stand-Up Comedy Show” takes over the GE Theatre at Proctors for three performances – 7:30pm on Friday, September 13; 1:30pm on Saturday, September 14; and 3:30pm on Sunday, September 15.

Priced at $25 & $35, tickets go on sale to the general public 10am on Wednesday (August 14).
