FAIR: Saratoga County Fair @ the Saratoga County Fairgrounds, Ballston Spa. The Nippertown fair season is kicking off with opening day in Ballston Spa. Comedy hypnotist Brad Matchett, racing pigs, demolition derby, comedy juggler Matt Baker, music by Seth & the Moody Melix and Markellis Haskell Maul, more. 9am-12midnight. $10.

MUSIC: Dash Rip Rock @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. High-octane, swamp-soaked Louisiana rock ‘n’ roll. With Grainbelt. 8pm. $10.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Deep Chatham @ Byrdcliffe Barn, Woodstock. The North Carolina band melds bluegrass, folk and a hint of medieval England to raise money for the Byrdcliffe Community Garden. 8pm. $10.

DANCE: National Ballet of Canada @ SPAC, Saratoga Springs. Performing The Four Seasons (Vivaldi/Kudelka) and Emergence (Belton/Pite). 8pm.

THEATER: “The Merry Wives of Windsor” @ Congress Park, Saratoga Springs. Shakespeare in the park by the Saratoga Shakespeare Company. Directed by David M. Girard. 6:30pm. FREE. Through July 28.

MUSIC: The Ameros @ NBT Bank lawn, Canajoharie. The Music On Main Street concert series continues with the rock-reggae-hip-hop-and-funk powerhouse, combining thought-provoking lyrics, incendiary guitar, party vibes and a revolutionary spirit. 7pm. FREE.
