Led by vocalist-keyboardist-guitarist Nathan Willett, Long Beach-based indie rockers Cold War Kids are on the road, touring in support of their new album, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts.
The new album – the band’s fourth – is the first to feature new recruit Dann Gallucci (formerly with Modest Mouse), who took over on guitar following the departure of founding guitarist Jonnie Russell earlier this year.
In support of the new album, Cold War Kids will be making a stop at the Hollow Bar + Kitchen in Albany at 7pm on Thursday (July 11), where they will play a short acoustic set happy-hour show. You can’t buy tickets for the show, however, which is sponsored by WEQX-FM. You can, however, win free tickets right here. We’re giving away three – count ’em, 3 – four-packs of tickets.
That’s right, you and three of your best friends can attend the show for free. To enter the contest, just post a comment below. Please leave your email address, too. We won’t publish it, but we’ll use it to contact you if you win. The deadline to enter is 12noon on Thursday (July 11), and the three winners will be selected at random and notified on Thursday afternoon. Enter today! And good luck! Congratulations to the winners, who have been notified by email.
