From Saratoga Wire: In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Saratoga Race Course and the ever-dwindling one-week residency of the NYC Ballet at SPAC, the streets of the Spa City will soon be decorated with what? More than two dozen five-foot-tall fiberglass pointe ballet shoe sculptures. Huh? Yeah, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, either, but Thomas Dimopoulos writes about the sculptures’ grand unveiling last weekend at the National Museum of Dance.
