Saratoga Winners Reunion, Part Deux

Yes, it’s back…

The Saratoga Winners Reunion back in March of 2011 celebrated the defunct roadhouse rock club, and it churned up a whole lot of musical memories. In the years leading up to its closing in September 2006, Saratoga Winners was the home to hardcore, punk and heavy metal bands. Not only did the nightspot play host to some of the biggest national and international acts, but it also nurtured the talents of countless young local bands over the years.

And that first Saratoga Winners Reunion more than two years ago was such a success that organizers have decided to do it all over again…

Saratoga Winners Reunion & Rock N Roll Rescue II will be held at Michael’s Banquet House in Cohoes (just like the first one) at 7pm on Saturday, September 7.

Organizers are rolling out the line-up of bands one at a time, and the first reveal is included in the above video.

And like the first reunion SWRII will be a benefit for two local animal rescue charities: Guilderhaven Inc. in Altamont and Adirondack Save-A-Stray in Corinth. Tickets are now available – $20 in advance.
