Jari Villanueva directs the 15-piece ensemble made up of Union students and faculty, as well as area pro players, named in honor of General Daniel Butterfield (Union College Class of 1849), who wrote the bugle call “Taps” in 1862. 5pm. FILM: “Chasing Ice” @ Crandall Public Library, Glens Falls. A documentary by National Geographic photographer James Balog showing the effects of climate change through time-lapse filming of our slowly disappearing glaciers. With guest speaker John Cerveny, an expert on climate change. 6:30pm. FREE.
