New Rock Concert Announced for The Egg

Two former members of the classic rock Woodstock band known simply as the Band will be heading into The Egg in Albany at 7:30pm on Saturday, May 18.

Led by bandleader-guitarist Jim Weider (who replaced Robbie Robertson in the Band) and Garth Hudson (the group’s original organist-pianist-accordionist), Project Percolator will play an eclectic evening of rock, blues and jazz and classic tunes by the Band. Projector Percolator’s line-up is rounded out by drummer Rodney Holmes, guitarist Avi Bortnick and bassist Steve Lucas.

Priced at $29.50, tickets are slated to go on sale to the general public on Tuesday (March 26).
