MUSIC: Margo Macero @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The leather-lunged Glens Falls singer-songwriter is the niece of famed jazz producer Teo Macero, but she’s carving out a mighty impressive niche of her own. 7pm. $5.

MUSIC: Lindsey Stirling @ the Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park. Melding classical violin with dubstep, her video for “Crystallize” was one of the Top 10 most-watched YouTube videos of last year with 42.9 million views. The Vibrant Sound opens the show. 8pm. $20.

MUSIC: Stick Men @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. The adventurous all-star trio – featuring Tony Levin on Chapman Stick and voice; Pat Mastelotto on acoustic and electronic drums; and Markus Reuter on 8- and 10- string Touch Guitar and live electronics – plays in support of their new album Deep. 8pm. $20.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: The Reverberators @ Franklin’s Tower, Albany. A benefit concert for SUNY students, who are spending their spring break assisting in the ongoing Hurricane Sandy relief effort. 5:30pm.

MUSIC: The Schenectady County Community College Jazz Ensemble @ the Van Dyck, Schenectady. Dr. William Meckley directs the SCCC Ensemble. Also the five-piece Schenectady County Community College Jazz Combo, directed by Brian Patneaude. 7:30pm. FREE.

FILM: “Hendrix 70: Live at Woodstock” @ Proctors, Schenectady. In celebration of the 70th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s birth, this documentary showcases the guitar greats legendary performance at the ’69 festival. One screening only. 7:30pm. $10; students $8.

MUSIC: Skip Parson’s Clarinet Marmalade @ the Stockade Inn, Schenectady. 6pm. FREE.
