Skidmore College Announces Spring Rock Concert

There was a time not too long ago when nearly all of the Local 518 colleges kept the concert calendar jam packed with a wide variety of top notch national bands and musicians. Those days are over, however, and Skidmore College and RPI (thanks to EMPAC) have emerged as the most adventurous universities on the concert front. Unquestionably.

Now, Skidmore has announced a big spring concert – the Dirty Projectors are headed into Skidmore’s Williamson Sports Center on Saturday, April 13. To the best of my recollection, it will be the band’s first Capital Region concert since playing a free EMPAC-sponsored show at RPI in Troy back in January, 2007.

WHO: Dirty Projectors
WHERE: Skidmore College’s Williamson Sports Center, Saratoga Springs
WHEN: Saturday, April 13, doors open at 8pm; opening act TBA at 9pm; Dirty Projectors at 10pm.
HOW MUCH: $20 in advance ($21.69 with service fee); $25 at the door
