TALK: “From Abbey Road to Ziggy Stardust” @ Skidmore College’s Filene Recital Hall, Saratoga Springs. A lecture-presentation by Ken Scott, one of only five recording engineers ever to have recorded the Beatles. His engineering and producing credits extend far beyond the Fab Four, however, including David Bowie, Jeff Beck, Stanley Clarke, Duran Duran, Elton John, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and the Tubes, to name just a few. 7pm. College professor Greg Moynahan discusses the rise of scientific experimentation and its relation to experimentation in the arts. 6pm. FREE.
