Ah Jeff – I stand corrected – I think our first show was at the Ye Olde Clifton Park Hotel. The Old Post Road Saloon was in East Greenbush. I didn’t mind losing the Ibanez, but the ’68 goldtop deluxe that followed needed to be glued back together. Good times. Good times.

I wonder if that cassette tape I have of us playing “Is That Love?” at the Old Post Road Saloon also contains the sound of Dom smashing his red Ibanez guitar through the stage? A great moment in rock n’ roll history. I think there’s a NYS historic placque at the site of the Old Post commemorating the event.
