Albany’s MOVE Music Festival Announces First Round of Bands

Move Music Festival 2013

Last spring, the inaugural Move Music Festival took over 10 downtown nightspots to play host to more than 90 indie rock bands – including the UK’s Wombats kicking off their U.S. tour – all on the same day.

Well, MMF is returning for a second annual bash – and this time around, it’s expanding – doubling to a two-day event on Friday and Saturday, April 26 & 27. And eight participating venues have been announced so far – McGeary’s Pub, the Bayou Cafe, the Fuze Box, Red Square, 74 State, Blue 82, Bogie’s and Justin’s.

Wristbands – good for admission to all MMF events on both days – are $15, although early-bird advance wristbands are currently available for just $10 at PledgeMusic, along with a batch of other package offers.

And today, the fest organizers announced the first round of bands that have been selected to perform:
