Dallas-style glitz and glamour will be on display for SPAC’s February fundraiser, The Winter Ball: DALLAS, Everything’s Bigger in Texas, at SPAC’s Hall of Springs. Bringing some southern heat to the cold Saratoga winter, the event will celebrate the spirit of the Lone Star State with mechanical bull rides, bourbon and spicey southwest fare. Presented by SPAC’s Junior Committee, the Winter Ball is a fundraiser helping to underwrite the classical programming and educational activities of SPAC’s upcoming summer season.
Features of this year’s Dallas Winter Ball include:
Mechanical bull rides
Open beer and wine bar
Complimentary bourbon tastings
Sparkling Champagne reception
Generous “Tex Mex”-styled hors d’oeuvres
Live Music by Grand Central Station
Costume contests for Best Dressed Texas Beauty Queen and Texas Oil Baron
Western chic/Southfork Ranch décor
Western-style photo booth
Tickets for the SPAC Winter Ball are $65 in advance; $70 at the door.
