After the end-of-the-year string of holidays that includes Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s Eve, you might think that the celebrating was over for a while…
But it was not so at the Schuyler Mansion in Albany, where folks from throughout the Capital Region gathered for some special Twelfth Night festivities with the “Salutations of the Season” celebration on Saturday, January 5. They reveled in the holiday traditions that might have been celebrated by the Schuyler family back in the 18th century – with live music, bonfires and wassail toasts – as they ushered in a new year.
