Last weekend Valentine’s Music Hall in Albany stepped up to host Rock for Recovery, a two-night benefit concert in remembrance of the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy. The concerts featured a dozen bands, including Conehead Buddha, Dr. Jah & the Love Prophets, Skunk Hostage, the Lucky Jukebox Brigade, Timbre Coup, Way Down, Black Mountain Symphony, the Erin Harkes Band, Matt & the Bad Ideas, Sean Rowe, Super 400 and the Hearing Aides.

The two nights raised a total of $4193, which benefited EverRibbon: My Sandy Hook Family Fund and Newtown Youth & Family Services.
