The Eighth Step Brings Pete & Peggy Seeger to Proctors

As we told you last month, the brother-and-sister folk legends Pete and Peggy Seeger are coming to Proctors in Schenectady to wrap up the Eighth Step’s 45th anniversary season of concerts.

But we didn’t have any details, until now…

America’s most beloved folksinger Pete Seeger reunites with his younger sister Peggy for a rare concert in Schenectady, as the Eighth Step takes over Proctors’ Mainstage for the first time at 7pm on Sunday, May 12. The concert will be a slightly belated 94th birthday celebration for Pete, whose birthday is on Friday, May 3.

In honor of their late brother John Seeger, Peggy & Pete will donate concert proceeds to Camp Killooleet, a traditional summer camp for children ages 9-14 in the Green Mountain National Forest, Hancock, Vermont. Camp Killooleet was run and nourished for over 50 years by John & his late wife Eleanor.

Priced at $24, $34 & $54, tickets for the Pete & Peggy Seeger concert at Proctors are now on sale.
