MUSIC: Katie Trautz & the New Foundry @ Valentine’s Music Hall, Albany. The Vermont-based band plays original folk and old-time with a unique contemporary inflection. Featuring Katie Trautz (fiddle, guitar, vocals), Nate Gusakov (banjo), Jay Ekis (guitar) and Rob Morse (bass). With Americana Music Club hosts Dan Johnson & the Expert Sidemen. 8pm.

MUSIC: Ra Ra Riot @ the Upstate Concert Hall, Clifton Park. Cellist-vocalist Alexandra Lawn has left the fold since their last Nippertown concert, but the chamber-pop band has carried on, and they’re slated to release their new album, Beta Love, next month. With Guards. 8pm. $16.

MUSIC: The Coveralls @ Jose Malone’s, Troy. Texas-centric classic country, Americana and roots music from Kevin Maul, Peter Bearup and Charlie Morris. 7pm.

MUSIC: Margaret Lampasi @ the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, Troy. The last of the monthly Music at Noon concerts for 2012… 12noon. FREE.

MUSIC: The Icarus Account @ the College of Saint Rose’s Jack’s Place, Albany. With Dinner and a Suit, My New York Summer, Mayweather and Homecoming Kings. 7pm. $7.

MUSIC: Greg Klingler & John Baratta @ Proctors, Schenectady. This noon-time organ concert recital – featuring Proctors’ mighty Wurlitzer organ, Goldie – concludes the 2012 series. 12noon. FREE.
