Of course, while most of the classical season has been announced, only a few of the non-classical performances are listed on the current schedule, with more to come in the near future. But the pop shows that have been announced make for an already intriguing summer season that covers a wide range of entertainment from Steve Martin to Audra McDonald, from Michael Feinstein to Vince Gill, from Edie Brickell to the Monty Alexander Trio.
The biggest must-see event on the calendar, however, is the Goat Rodeo Show – featuring the genre-smashing, all-star line-up of cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bassist Edgar Meyer, mandolinist Chris Thile and fiddler Stuart Duncan with vocalist Aoife O’Donovan.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Sunday, January 27.
