BURLESQUE: Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque @ the Bayou Cafe, Albany. Emcee Guy Smiley leads the post-Thanksgiving romp with plenty of Bing Bamboo Room gags and gals. 8pm. $10.

FILM: 3 Stooges Film Festival @ Palace Theatre, Albany. The knuckleheads Curly, Larry & Moe (and sometimes Shemp or Joe) are featured in a half dozen of their classic short films: “Woman Haters” (1934), “Flat Foot Stooges” (1938), “In the Sweet Pie and Pie” (1941), “What’s the Marador” (1942), “Brideless Groom” (1947) and “Outer Space Jitters” (1957). Nyuck, nyuck, nyuck… 7pm. $5; kids $3.

DISCUSSION: Ken Burns @ The Egg, Albany. An engaging evening between the Academy and Emmy Award winning American director and nationally prominent Lincoln scholar Harold Holzer, as they talk about Mr. Burn’s life, many productions such as “The Civil War” (1990), “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea” (2009), “Prohibition” (2011), “The Dust Bowl” (2012) and their mutual passion for history. 7:30pm. $10.
