MUSIC: New York State Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony @ Pauly’s Hotel, Albany. The first Capital Region induction, hosted by the Michael Packer Band. Inductees include the late Ernie Williams and the Ernie Williams Band, as well as Charlie Smith, Steve Katz, George Boone, Luke McNamee, Mark Tolstrup and more. 1pm. $10. THEATER ON FILM: “Timon of Athens” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The National Theatre of London’s production, starring Simon Russell Beale as a wealthy friend to the rich and powerful, patron of the arts and ostentatious host, who is surrounded by free-loaders and sycophants. He vastly outspends his resources but, finding his coffers empty, reassures his loyal steward that all will be well. 1pm. $22; students $15.

Written and directed by Eugene Jarecki, this film captures heart-wrenching stories from America’s War on Drugs – from the dealer to the grieving mother, the narcotics officer to the senator, the inmate to the federal judge. 6:30pm. $7; students $5.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Rockin’ From the Heart II @ the Barrel Saloon, Albany. Pat Viglucci & Ian Hunter (1pm), the Bent Rail Blues Band (2pm), Mirk (3pm), Rufus Leaking Band (4pm), Rock Garden (5pm) and Blue Factory (6pm) team up for an afternoon mini-fest to benefit the Center for Disability Services. 1-6pm. $10.

MUSIC: The Howling Kettles @ the Spotty Dog, Hudson. Formerly known as String Band, the Vermont-based old-timey band celebrates the release of their sophomore CD, “The Parlor is Pleasant on Sunday Night.” 7pm. $5.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: “The Last Waltz Live” @ the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Great Barrington. The Rev Tor Band teams up with a wide array of local musicians to recreate the music of the Band’s classic concert film.
