The Egg Announces Two New Concerts

The Egg in Albany has added two new concerts to its ever-expanding 2012-13 season.

Tix are currently available exclusively to members of The Egg and will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, November 8.

The newly announced concerts are:

Friday, January 11, 7:30pm
$24, Swyer Theatre
Brothers Eric and Leigh Gibson – on banjo and guitar, respectively – lead the celebrated traditional bluegrass band, which was recently named Entertainers of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards ceremony in Nashville.

Sunday, April 7, 7:30pm
$34.50, Swyer Theatre
With a career spanning thirty years exploring a variety of styles, Al Di Meola ranks among the most popular guitar masters of jazz. He’ll join forces with Grammy Award-winning Cuban jazz pianist and composer Gonzalo Rubalcaba for an evening of world-jazz music.
