Yeah, chances are you’ll hear more than a few banjo jokes on Saturday night when the NY Banjo Summit returns to The Egg in Albany.

The NY Banjo Summit features many of the world’s most influential banjo players – all with ties to New York – performing a concert that will find the banjo being played in both conventional and unexpected ways. In performances ranging from solos and duets to full-tilt, mega-banjo blow-outs with all the players, the concert will feature music ranging from bluegrass and old-time country music to jazz, classical and rock.
