MUSIC: The Bandana Splits @ MASS MoCA’s Club B-10, North Adams. This charming Brooklyn-based trio of singers – Dawn Landes, Lauren Balthrop and Annie Nero – have a sound reminiscent of the great girl groups of the ’50s and ’60s inspired by the Ronettes, the Caravelles and others. 8pm. $16; students $10.

MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Jake Holmes @ the Saratoga Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. The under-appreciated singer-songeriter not only wrote the Led Zep classic “Dazed and Confused,” but also the U.S. Army jingle, “Be All You Can Be.” And if that ain’t a stretch, well, I don’t know what if. The brilliant Local 518 singer-songwriter-keyboardist and his band – Bryan Thomas on bass, Joe Putrock on drums and David Schulman on guitar – celebrate the release of Davis’ new album, Small Sacrifices Must Be Made. 8pm.
