CANCELLED: Yet Another Show at The Egg

Due to illness, the performance by comedian Ralphie May – which was originally slated for The Egg in Albany on Friday, October 12 – has been cancelled. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

Seems as though there have been an awful lot of concert cancellations and postponements around Nippertown in the past couple of weeks, and The Egg has been hit particularly hard, having already lost Clannad (September 25), Renaissance (originally October 14 but postponed to a yet-to-be-determined date) and George Winston (November 10).

  1. Bob Buckley says:

That must be one helluva illness to cancel a show ten days away. Don’t know the guy, but hope he’s okay.

  2. Fred says:

I look at these cancellations as opportunities. I’d love to see The Egg book some new shows. My suggestions: Allen Toussaint, Neko Case, Dave Alvin and the Guilty Women, Candye Kane, Blotto, Mavis Staples, and Delbert McClinton.

  3. Richard Brody says:

Fred – I like your suggestions but the two new shows that have been booked, Little Feat and Robert Cray are not on your list.
