Got an e-mail today too from the Tragically Hip who come into town Nov. 15 at Upstate Concert Hall. Why, why, why Hip? Play the Egg again. Upstate Concert Hall is a good place for some shows but not the Hip. They have played great shows there in the past but the show at the Egg a couple of years ago was the best Hip show I have ever seen. The shows at the Palace many years ago were fantastic as well. They are a theater band, not a sweaty rock club band. Looks like I’ll go the following night in Syracuse at the Landmark (OK, or probably both).

$72 for the cheapest seats, wow was it that expensive last time?

  3. Greg says:

No, actually ticket prices for Bonamassa’s Nov. 2011 show were $51, $61 and $71.
