FESTIVAL/MUSIC/FUNDRAISER: Restoration Festival @ St. Joseph’s Church, Albany. It’s Day One of the third annual three-day indie music festival. Tonight’s headlining band at 9:30pm is the eagerly anticipated reunion of the Kamikaze Hearts. With Better Pills at 7pm and Common Prayer at 8:15pm. Doors open at 6pm. $25; children under 14 FREE. MUSIC: Session Americana @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. The Boston roots music all-stars gather ’round their table for a return to Caffe Lena. 8pm. $20.

FILM/TALK: Albert Maysles @ Basilica Hudson, Hudson. The famed filmmaker is on hand to screen his Rolling Stones film “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out!” as well as rarely seen footage from “Meet Marlon Brando,” “With Love From Truman,” “Dali’s Fantastic Dream,” “Muhammad Ali: Zaire,” “Grey Gardens” and “Late Night With David Letterman.” 8pm. $5-$10.

THEATER: “Endgame” @ the Byrdcliffe Theater, Woodstock. The Woodstock Players Theater Co. tackle the Samuel Beckett classic starring Carey Harrison as Hamm and Mikhail Horowitz as Clov. Directed by Andrea Cunliffe. 8pm. $15. Through September 16.

FILM: “Free Radicals: A History of Experimental Cinema” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Filmmaker Pip Chodorov offers his affectionate overview of some of the leading figures of 20th century experimental film, combining film clips (and entire films) with conversations with the likes of such greats as Hans Richter, Robert Breer, Michael Snow, Peter Kubelka and Stan Brakhage. 6pm. $7; students $5.
