The Kamikaze Hearts

“It changes. I’ve been listening to a lot of John Cale lately, which is strange. That record ‘Fear.’ I’ve been listening to that a lot.

I don’t really listen to anything that’s newer than 15 years old generally, because I don’t know what the hell’s going on. Nothing really gets me.

I listen to the Rolling Stones a lot.”

Troy Pohl reunites with his former bandmates in the Kamikaze Hearts for the first time in five years to headline the first night of the three-day Restoration Festival at 9:30pm on Friday (September 7) at the former St. Joseph’s Church in Albany. The Friday line-up also features Better Pills (7pm) and Common Prayer (8:15pm). Doors open at 6pm. Friday tix are $20 in advance; $25 at the door. Three-day all-fest tix are $40 in advance.
