FESTIVAL/FOOD/MUSIC: Bacon Fest @ Henry Hudson Waterfront Park, Hudson. You can taste it already, right? The best-tasting fest of the season with oodles of bacon-laced edibles – from BLTs to bacon cupcakes to bacon vodka – and lots of great music from Eastbound Jesus, Sgt. MUSIC: Baby States @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Ben Davis, Jeremy Gustin and Alec Spiegelman… You have seen them playing with Railbird, Cuddle Magic or countless other inventive outfits. FILM: “Free Radicals: A History of Experimental Cinema” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Filmmaker Pip Chodorov offers his affectionate overview of some of the leading figures of 20th century experimental film, combining film clips (and entire films) with conversations with the likes of such greats as Hans Richter, Robert Breer, Michael Snow, Peter Kubelka and Stan Brakhage. 2pm. $7; students $5.

MUSIC: Boston Pops Orchestra @ Tanglewood, Lenox. Wrapping up the summer season at Tanglewood, the Boston Pops tackles the Great American Songbook with some very special guests – Michael Feinstein and Tony Award-winners Christine Ebersole and Betty Buckley. 2:30pm. $21-$117.

FILM: “The Queen of Versailles” @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. Director Lauren Greenfield’s documentary about a billionaire family and their financial challenges as they attempt to construct the biggest house in America in the wake of the economic crisis. 6pm. $7; students $5.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC/MORE: The Woodstock Dally @ the Bearsville Theater, Woodstock. A day-long fest on the Bearsville grounds with more than two dozen vendors and local artisans. Music by Shadowed Mirrors, Suave, Zumbi Zumbi, Joe Bones, the Dharma Bums, Tall Weeds, Jax Denise, Randy Fredrix, Funk Button and more. 11am-7:30pm. FREE.
