Three New Concerts at The Egg

The Egg in Albany has added three more new concerts to its already stellar line-up of shows. Here’s what’s new:

Grammy Award-winning guitar hero Eric Johnson takes the stage for an evening of rock ‘n’ blues backed by the rhythm section from “The Late Show with David Letterman” – bassist Will Lee and drummer Anton Fig.

THE WOODSTOCK ERA EXPERIENCE
Friday, November 2, 8pm
$20, $30 & $35
The classic rock tribute act features Bryan O’Neill as Jim Morrison; Lisa Bertrand as Janis Joplin; Jason “JY” Young as Jimi Hendrix and lots more. NOTE: The ones we’re really looking forward to the most are Tommy Love as Mick Jagger and Erin Harkes channeling the late, great Dusty Springfield.

JOE LOVANO’S US FIVE

Grammy Award-winning saxophone giant Joe Lovano brings his killer band to town – featuring pianist James Wiedman, bassist Esperanza Spalding and drummers Otis Brown III and Francisco Mela. Wow!
