Despite a steady and, at times, heavy rain, Diego Garcia and his band played the Music Haven in Schenectady’s Central Park last Sunday, and the crowd responded with swooning enthusiasm – particularly during a sing-a-long on “All Eyes On You” and several other songs which have received heavy airplay on local station WEXT-FM.

As an encore, the NYC-based musician performed the Kinks’ “This Strange Effect” for a local couple who had used the song as the soundtrack to the first dance at their wedding. And the couple was thrilled to re-live that moment, dancing together on the stage with the band.
