MUSIC: Loudon Wainwright III @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The wry veteran singer-songwriter makes his Hudson debut in support of his new album, “Older Than My Old Man Now.” 8pm. $30.

FILM: “LCD Soundsystem: Shut Up and Play the Hits” @ Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. An encore screening of the concert/documentary film of LCD Soundsystem’s final show on April 2, 2011 at Madison Square Garden. 7pm. $10.
