MUSIC: Sierra Hull & Highway 111 @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. She’s a bluegrass mandolin prodigy, having made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 11 playing with Alison Krausss. Hull and and her band fire it up in support of their latest album, “Daybreak.” Expect to be dazzled… 7pm. $22.

MUSIC: The Sunny Side of the Street Band @ Dana Park, Albany. 7pm. FREE.

MUSIC: Animal Kingdom @ Jillian’s, Albany. The North London trio serves up lush, atmospheric sounds as they land in Nippertown in support of their sophomore album, “The Looking Away.” With Eight and a Half. 8pm. $10.

THEATER ON FILM: “The Tempest” @ Spectrum 8 Theatres, Albany. Starring Academy Award-winner Christopher Plummer as captured live on stage at Canada’s Stratford Shakespeare Festival. 6:30pm. $15; children 12 and under $12.

MUSIC: The Murali Coryell Band @ Club Helsinki, Hudson. The blues guitarslinger and his band (drummer Dorian “Detroit” Randolph and bassist Vince Leggiere) are recording the show for possible upcoming release. 8pm. FREE.

BURLESQUE: Bing Bamboo Room Burlesque @ Savannah’s Dublin Underground, Albany. Host Guy Smiley and the Bing Bamboo Room Gang flashes back to the ’70s TV game show “Match Game.” 8pm. $10.
