MUSIC: Missy Raines & the New Hip @ Shepard Park, Lake George. The award-winning bluegrass bassist and her band fire up her hybrid “indie rock-bluegrass vibe meets a deep jazz groove.” 7:30pm. FREE.

DANCE: Jacob’s Pillow, Becket. The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company returns to the Pillow with Story/Time, featuring Tony Award-winner Bill T. Jones narrating his personal stories while his company performs their signature powerhouse movement in the Ted Shawn Theatre (8pm). Meanwhile, noted for her gorgeous movement and as a prolific choreographer, Jessica Lang presents the full company debut of Jessica Lang Dance in an evening of dramatic and moving classical and contemporary ballets in the Doris Duke Theatre (8:15pm).
