FESTIVAL: “Hey, I’m Still Breathing: A Musical Celebration With Dick Quinn” @ the Ale House, Troy. It’s a star-studded party for one of Nippertown’s most devoted music fans featuring performances by Maurizio, Holly & Evan, the Coveralls, the Dirty Bolans, the Staynz, Big Frank & the Bargain Bingers, the Hill Hollow Band, MotherJudge, Jack Grace, Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys, the Nellies, Rocky Velvet, the Knyghts of Fuzz, the Lustre Kings, the Five Points Band, the Doornails, Scotty Mac & the Rockin’ Bonnevilles, more… 3pm.

FESTIVAL/MUSIC: Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival @ Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs. Day Two of the 35th annual fest featuring Trombone Shorty, Diana Krall, Arturo O’Farrill, Hiromi, the Yellowjackets, Trio of Oz, the Brian Mitchell Band, Steve Kroon, Sachal Vasandani, Edmar Castaneda, more. 12noon.

MUSIC: Village Harmony @ Time + Space Limited, Hudson. The vocal ensemble performs dance-songs from South Africa, folk polyphony from the Balkans and traditional American shape-note songs, folk arrangements and gospel quartet songs. 7:30pm. $10; students $5.

MUSIC: Pierre Bensusan @ Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs. Brilliant acoustic guitar virtuoso and songwriter. 7pm. $24.

FILM: “Hello, I Must Be Going” @ Images Cinema, Williamstown. A special preview screening of director Todd Louiso’s new film, a blend of fizzy comedy, family drama and unconventional love story. Followed by Q&A with Blythe Danner, one of the film’s stars. 7pm. $12.

FESTIVAL: Cohoes Fest III @ Canal Square Park, Cohoes. Free lunch, free Stewart’s sundaes, Kids’ activities and live music from Amy Collins, Frank Jaklitsch, more. 10am-3pm.

MUSIC: Brother Woodrow @ Trick Shot Billiards, Clifton Park. A one-night-only band – featuring vocalist-guitarist Mike Fronk, guitarist Mark Frederick, drummer Dan Mac, keyboardist Rob Jonas and bassist Mike Guzzo – pays tribute to ’90s alt-rockers the Afghan Whigs. 6pm. FREE.
